The practice nurses are available by appointment during all surgery hours for contraceptive pill checks, travel vaccination, childhood immunisation, dietary advice, cervical smears, smoking cessation, weight reduction, coronary heart disease, diabetes, COPD and asthma clinics and management of chronic diseases.
The healthcare assistants are available by appointment during all surgery hours for smoking cessation, ear syringing, dressings, weight management, ECGs, spirometry and B12 injections.
The practice manager will be pleased to answer queries or receive suggestions as to how we may improve our services.
There are 10 receptionists/computer operators/secretaries. They are here to help you. They may need to ask you for further details when you telephone in order to judge the urgency of your request. They are trained to adopt this procedure so that we can help in the most appropriate way. All staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
District nurses organise their own home visits. If you need to speak to a District Nurse please phone 01737 761201/232.
Health visitors are based in Redhill. They can be contacted on 01737 775470. If they are out please leave a message on the answerphone and they will return your call as soon as possible. They see patients by appointment either at the surgery or at home.
As well as running child healthcare clinics in the local area, they are there to help and support mothers and their families if they are experiencing sleep, dietary, behaviour, developmental or postnatal problems.
